Benjamin List,1968年1月11日,出生于德国法兰克福,是德国著名有机化学家,曾任德国Max-Planck煤化学研究所所长。2021诺贝尔化学奖获得者。

利用有机催化剂开发新型合成方法
2000年,Barbas, Lerner等开发了脯氨酸催化的不对称Adol反应[1]、提出了「有机催化剂」概念,已成为有机催化领域的鼻祖。
